| Express Global Logistics successfully executed a complex multimodal movement of two super-heavy process columns from the Dahej fabrication facility to an overseas Exxon site, delivering within a tightly controlled schedule. The cargo included a 70 m, 330 MT high-pressure column and a 65.8 m, 248 MT low-pressure column—both requiring precise engineering and handling due to their extreme dimensions. Operations began with synchronized loading onto 30-axle Scheuerle SPMTs, where careful load distribution and controlled maneuvering ensured structural integrity throughout yard handling. Loadout & Barge Positioning The units were transported to the loadout jetty and seamlessly transferred onto a 230-class barge under strict tidal constraints. EXG executed a highly coordinated loadout operation, followed by an accelerated sea-fastening process completed in just 6 hours—well within the critical window. Marine Transportation Marine transport along the western coast was carried out with continuous monitoring, ensuring stability and safety. Final delivery at MBPT Anchorage was completed under FAS terms, marking a smooth handover. From SPMT operations to marine execution, the entire movement—loadout, transit, and delivery—was completed in a synchronized 9-day cycle, showcasing Express Global Logistics’s technical expertise, precision planning, and ability to deliver complex heavy-lift logistics without compromise. #conventus #conventus26 #generalcargo #freightforwarding #generalcargonetwork |
